Presenting Sweet Peanuts at the Creative Industries Demo Day 2023

Business owners working in the creative industries sector that are looking to grow, access new markets and customers, are encouraged to take part in the inaugural Creative Industries Demo Day, delivered by Innovate Moreton Bay.

We applied to be a part of this program and were selected as one of the ten organisations and businesses to participate in a workshop and present.

Demo Day Workshop

In the lead-up, finalists took part in a pre-event workshop hosted by renowned trainer and workshop facilitator Jacqueline Nagle from Any Given Tuesday.

The pre-event workshop assisted finalists to fine-tune their skills and unlock the elements of influence to provide them with skills across pitching, storytelling, speaking, positioning, business model analysis and strategy.

Presentation Day

Finalists were invited to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and a room of industry leaders, at the Creative Industries Demo Day hosted at TAFE Queensland, Redcliffe Campus, on Thursday, April 27.

Barbara was the first to present on the day and was awarded with access to the Onramp Founders Program and an Advertising package supplied by Moreton Daily. Congratulations to Blind Bats Inc. who were unanimously voted as the days top presentation for the innovative ‘Beeping Ball’ that will revolutionise sports for vision impaired people and people living with disability.
